  16. This memo provides an architecture and a plan for allocating IP
  17. addresses in the Internet. This architecture and the plan are intended
  18. to play an important role in steering the Internet towards the Address
  19. Assignment and Aggregating Strategy.

  21. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.

  23. This RFC specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the
  24. Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for
  25. improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet
  26. Official Protocol Standards" for the standardization state and status
  27. of this protocol.  Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
